6:10, 6:19, 6:10, 6:11, 6:13, 6:28, 6:18, 6:14, 6:12, 6:16... stopped just after mile 6 (curvy slower mile) to say bye to pierre and then did miles 7-10 on the track.

Nice! You are right where you want to be. You can't "fake" your fitness on these long tempo efforts. I'm excited for you!

Thanks Jake--I'm excited for you and Andrea too. I'm still not sure. It's harder than it should be and I did stop a couple of times :-(. I'm thinking 23 on Saturday with the last 3 closer to marathon pace hopefully. Does that sound good?

Yeah, that will probably be your last real long run, right? That is what I would do... its essentially the same thing I did 3 weeks out.

Great workout Emily. It probably felt hard because you are at your hardest training point right now and have been putting in some solid efforts. And you were running faster than marathon pace! :)
